This is the pilot Open Data site of Surrey County Council.
The initial collection of data concentrates on transparency, providing information on how the council works and how it spends its budget, in line with the Local Government Transparency Code. Plans are in place to add further information of interest to citizens and businesses over the coming months.
In most cases, data is available in 5-star machine readable form, together with summary descriptions and metadata. Downloadable files in CSV format are also available. The majority of the data is free to re-use under the Open Government Licence.
This site hosts 29 Linked Data datasets which you can browse and download in multiple formats, query using our SPARQL 1.1 endpoint, and access programmatically using our APIs, supported by 3 local vocabularies and 76 downloadable files and web links.
